Porter Belly's, Allston's favorite neighborhood bar, hosted it's annual Christmas party featuring the festive grooves of local legends Tori Pyne.

Norwood Senior Center

This was an interesting day. Boston Photographer Eric Stewart accompanied me on a job to shoot the Norwood Senior Center while using their MySeniorCenter touchscreen.

Soap Stars Recording Sesh

Soap Stars, a local Allston pop rock band, is wrapping up production of their first full length album. The recording was done locally at Kissy Pig Studio, and produced by Dave Westner of Tori Pyne.

The boys listen to the track in progress and have a beer while they ponder adjustments.

I catch my reflection in Mikey P's glasses while the boys take an M&M break.

Wasting more time in between tracks, we play with the reflections in a studio mirror.


And the boys discuss changes during a cig break in the bathroom.

Tori Pyne at Porter Belly's

Every Monday night Tori Pyne hosts a unique musical experience at Porter Belly's, our favorite local Allston bar. When I'm in town, I like to put up a few of my paintings to add to the general groovy atmosphere.

Ed rocks out with one of my paintings in the background.

The very talented Dave Westner plays the one handed bass while rocking the drums at the same time.

Portland, Maine

This is what Maine looks like in November...

someone else's strawberry milkshake is interesting.

drinking lots of coffee is interesting...

the view outside the hotel isn't interesting, but that's what makes it interesting. (right?) three cheers for America. I mean Portland.

Grayspot at RiRa's

Ahh Grayspot, the traveling circus, I mean rock and roll cover band, charmed RiRa in Portland Maine once again this november with two unforgettable performances.

Mike, Duncan, and Bear look out from the stage through RiRa's donkey themed window. A new band name comes to mind... "let's call ourselves Slam Donkey instead of Grayspot... what do you guys think?"

Soap Stars put on a local show for fans at Porter Belly's pub in Brighton, MA.

Duncan refuses to sing into a mic, but has no problem serenading matt...
