Rhymes With Dolores Casa Party

The night we had Rhymes With Dolores was the first officially sponsored Casa party. By Miller Lite, coincidentally. Our photography assignment for the evening was to capture as many special "Miller moments" as possible to send along to the promotions company and hopefully get sponsored again. Since clearly Miller Lite made this party, we would like to thank them, as well as the three great bands, Before Lasers, The Heavy, and of course, Rhymes with Dolores. I'll never forget the "Casa Bonita" song!

Casa pre party... we have to cage olly just to get anything clean for 5 minutes. Of course he came out for the party as he loves socializing.

I love the kid passed out on the couch in front of the bathroom. He had too much Miller Lite so he went to pee but passed out while waiting also because he had too much Miller Lite. That's a double thank you!

Miller Lite. mmmm.

keg band.

shirts versus skins!

Boston Celtics and Miller Lite. Some people like this combination.

Miller Lite makes Meghan giggle.

Mega's Birthday

Can you tell I just got my macro lens? I decided to shoot Mega's whole birthday with it. Enjoy the details.
One of our gifts to Mega was to all draw on a big piece of canvas. Someone drew this awesome clown.
Sam drew the Helen Keller Apples 2 Apples card. It is the best card in the deck.
I just wrote Happy Birthday. Sooo creative.
Michael wrote a special haiku for Mega.
Austin suggested everyone burn a sparkler. It was raining. He was the only one brave enough to venture outside but I took his picture from the doorway.
I always take pictures of Mega's chandelier.

We made some very special cupcakes for the occasion.
This is a picture of my rug. I took it while I was getting ready.
This is a picture of a very ugly piece of fabric that I insisted Mega help me dig out of the dumpster.
This is a picture of a rubber ducky that is hanging at Casa. When people hit their head on it (because it hangs so low) we like to say "duck!"

Macro

These are literally the first four pictures I took with my macro. Thats pretty much the only story behind this post.

This is a wire sculpture that an artist in Spain made for me when I was a kid. Pretty cool, huh?
